About Ryda Gård
Ryda is an old-fashioned hamlet where the houses were built in a row, as in Astrid Lindgren’s Bullerbyn. The farm is situated by the big lake Åsunden with a fabulous view over the lake. High mountains, large forests and meadows around the farm offer great nature adventures.
BatheThe best place for bathing is from our pier down at Åsunden, only 200 m from the houses. From the pier there is a ladder into the water and in the summer we put garden furniture, complete with cushions and parasols, on the pier. This place is most suitable for grown ups and somewhat older children, who can swim, as here the lake gets deep quickly and the bottom of the lake is stony. |
SaunaAfter a fishing or hunting trip during the cooler months it usually feels good to warm yourself up in the sauna. The sauna is situated in the areas for common use on the ground floor of Lillstugan. There are seats for 6-8 people and next to the sauna are showers and WC. |
